As I mentioned in my previous post, Barnabas Shaw had several babies that did not live longer than a year on this earth, due to mal-nutrition. At that time, he never thought that he would have so many decedents! Here are some of us. I’m standing next to my Grandmother, Irene Shaw, my Cousin Raymond is on the other side of Granny Shaw and my brother Ronald is next to him. On my other side is my Cousin Patricia and her brother Douglas Shaw.

This photo was taken on their lovely farm in the Transvaal. We had so much fun that summer! They had a wonderful swimming Pool with a river surrounding it. I loved running over the little bridge and jumping into the pool.
